Transasia Group has been involved into the copper & gold sector of Indonesia since around 2010. Our major project in this area is located in Lombok Island and the concession area of Bintang mine covers 3,671 Ha.
As a result of intensive geological work and 15,000 meters of drilling a total of 7 main prospects were identified within the deposit. The first 5 prospects are porphyry Cu-Au targets and remaining 2 offer high-sulfidation epithermal Au-Ag targets.
The Bintang concession is located inside the famous Cu-Au belt going through Lombok and Sumbawa Islands. Four world-class Cu-Au and Au deposits (+5 moz of gold) and other smaller gold deposits have been discovered along the belt including Elang (25 moz of gold), Batu Hijau (+25 moz of gold), Tujuh Bukit (27.5 moz of gold) and Pongkor (+5 moz of gold).
