Transasia Group has been involved in the nickel sector of Indonesia for well over a decade with a proven record of successful operation of Kabaena mine since 2006 for multiple years.
Transasia Group is now actively involved in development of Sarana nickel mine in Central Sulawesi, which is considered as one the major nickel ore producing centers of Indonesia.
Extensive core drilling has been completed on site to date backed up by associated geological work, production of the JORC report and site preparation for production.
The mine area contains significant reserves of both limonite and saprolite ore.
Sarana mine is expected to be in operation in 2021 with gradual production ramp up.
Transasia Group is also in the midst of a feasibility study and arranging of financing for a Ferro-Nickel refining facility to be established in the vicinity of the mine for processing of Sarana's ore into an export quality product.
In addition to the Sarana project, Transasia Group holds several more prospective mining licenses in Sulawesi region which will gradually be brought into exploration and production phase to support our corporate growth.
